Horn & Hardart's Creamed Spinach

Amount Measure Ingredient Preparation Method
1 lb Spinach
2 tbsp Butter
1 ½ tbsp Flour
¼ cup Milk
1 tbsp Sugar
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp White Pepper

  • Wash Spinach.
  • Cook in a covered pan with water clinging to the leaves.
  • Chop fine.
  • Melt butter and flour.
  • Add milk slowly until thick.
  • Add Spinach.
  • Add seasonings.
  • Blend well.
